Sony has revealed a piece of promotional art for the upcoming Ghostbusters 2020 movie which may just reveal the new tagline.
The original two movies had the tagline ‘Who you gonna call?’. Paul Feig’s 2016 reboot went under the subtitle ‘Answer the call’ and now the new movie may go with the tagline ‘You know who to call’.
The art is still only from Sony’s licensing people – which is why it’s still just the original image released a few months ago with an extended, airbrushed section – and it unlikely to ever find its way into cinemas.
Jason Reitman’s movie is set in the world of the original two Ghostbusters movies and will ignore the 2016 reboot entirely.
It will star Stranger Things’ Finn Wolfhard, Captain Marvel’s Mckenna Grace and Widows’ Carrie Coon as members of a family who will have a mysterious connection to the first two movies.
We’re excited and yes, we know who to call…
Ghostbusters will return to theaters on July 10, 2020.
