Get ready Bond fans because the new Bond theme will be released tomorrow and it’ll be sung by… Sam Smith (check him out here)! (Continues after picture)

We’re not going to lie, or rather I’m not going to lie, but I honestly don’t know who Smith is. He could be a real talent… and undoubtedly is, given the job he’s nabbed, but we really doubt anyone will top the last Bond theme, Skyfall. But then, there’s only one Adele.

The song is called Writing’s On The Wall and will be unveiled on 25 September.

Excited? Is Smith the man for the gig? Let us know your thoughts.

SYNOPSIS: A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE. Sam Mendes returns to direct SPECTRE, with Daniel Craig reprising his role as 007 for the fourth time. SPECTRE is produced by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, from a script by John Logan and Neal Purvis & Robert Wade.

SPECTRE is set for global release on November 6, 2015.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
