Right we’re warning you from the outset. This article contains, like our massive rumour roundup last week,  MASSIVE SPOILERS for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice so if you want to avoid it, we’re telling you now!

An advanced review of Dawn of Justice has leaked online via Reddit user ViolatingNDA, who reportedly attended a special screening of the film on Tuesday night in L.A.

Heroic Hollywood, via Squareeyed, grabbed the scoop and have put up his entire review, so we’re warning you again, it’s packed with massive spoilers beyond your imagination!

SPOILER ALERT!  FINAL WARNING!

“Hey DC_Cinematic, i’m using a throwaway account for obvious reasons, but I saw the movie last night! I use a website for advance screenings and I got tickets for a mystery film and it turned out to be BvS.
The movie was very long, as long as TFA if I were to make a comparison. It didn’t drag though; every minute of the film was used effectively.
Performances were all great. Jesse Eisenberg as Lex is way more complex than what the trailers show. By the end of the film, you will HATE him, but at the same time, you can’t help admire how capable this guy is.
Ben Affleck as Bruce/Batman is definitely the standout performance. I was surprised/scared how different he became when he put the mask on. This Batman will come across as a villain to some viewers; he enjoys inflicting pain on criminals. There was a scene where he was branding a criminal, and he had the biggest smile on his face. I don’t know how fans will react to that, but I felt it worked with this version of the character.
Everyone else was great too, even the new supporting characters played by Jena Malone and Scoot McNairy. Jena Malone plays a crippled Barbara Gordon. She doesn’t have much screentime, but she does make a Killing Joke reference about an amusement park incident involving her now retired father. Scoot is playing Jimmy Olsen who was injured during the events of Man of Steel. He does not blame Superman like the others, but supports him and views him as a hero. He has a popular blog about Superman.
The third act was mindblowing. The Doomsday reveal in the trailer is just the tip of the iceberg. There is a lot of action, and I loved every moment of it. The first and second acts are the “Batman v Superman” parts of the movie, while the third act is entirely “Dawn of Justice.” You will see a fully assembled Justice League by the end of the film.
All in all, BvS is the greatest comic book movie since The Dark Knight, and I can’t wait to see it again come March.
If anyone has questions, i’ll be glad to answer.”

Let us just catch our breath for a second. With three months until the film is released, this review reveals precious information! There is naturally an honesty question at the centre of this review. When the Reddit user was pressed about details of the screening he supposedly attended, he would only say it was a “Mystery Screenoing.”

Here’s more quotes fromViolatingNDA:

On Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman: “GG is a believable and beautiful Diana Prince, every line she says is always backed with a sense of sincerity and purity, but also carried with weight.”

On Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor: “Multi-layered, reminds me of Heath’s Joker. He stole every scene he was in, and left you wanting more. I loved how much I hated him.”

On overall impressions of the film: “There were about 20-30 of us during the screening, but everyone was cheering and happy with the film. I believe this film will be critically praised, naysayers will eat their words. It is that good.”

On whether the film is overcrowded: “It does have a lot of characters, but all of them play a specific role. Senator Finch, Jimmy Olsen, Lois, Perry, Swanwick, and etc. are all pieces of the puzzle if you will. Instead of crowding the film, they all play a role.”

On the most surprising moment: “Most surprising moment, definitely the spectacle that is the third act with all the JL members.”

On how he thinks the film will be received: “It will win the general audience over and instill faith on the DC brand, helping the solo films.”

If you read this, what do you think? Are you excited for Dawn of Justice!? We know we are!
