Ok, so the rumours of a standalone Black Widow movie at Marvel are back and this time they are from Joe and Anthony russo..

While Black Widow is a great character in the MCU, fans have been calling out for here own movie for quite some time and even Marvel’s Kevin Fiege has responded in the seemingly positive (here) but still no sign of it in the line-up of coming movies.

Now the Russos, the guys responsible forCaptain America: The winter Soldier and Civil War seem to be teasing that it’s only a matter of time.

The duo chatted to Collider and, talking about the possibility, Anthony said: “I think there are going to be some fun surprises in store over the next few years [at Marvel], so…”

So what? Well, he continues: “It’s a no-brainer, right?”

Right! Then Joe adds: “I don’t think [it’ll take] much. I think it’s just a function of where on the slate it goes. She’s a bad-ass.”

Scarlett Johansson herself has said there’s been talk of a Black Widow movie series (here) so we’re guessing it’s only a matter of time, indeed.

Would you like to see this happen?
