It looks like DC’s TV output has just went up a level as the Swamp Thing TV Series (here) which will be debuting on the DC Streaming service, DC Universe, and is to be produced by James Wan, will now also have its pilot episode directed by Wan too along with Deran Sarafian.

Wan is currently finishing up on the Aquaman movie and is the man behind TheConjuring and Furious 7, so he certainly knows how to do scary and theatrical.

Sarafian has also an impressive resume, having worked on classic TV shows such asBuffy the Vampire Slayer, House and Fringe.

We were so excited for this show and now with what seems a perfect blend of cinema and TV, this could be a very special show indeed.
