Despite Stephen Amell confirming that Arrow will be coming to an end with a shortened eight season next year (here), it seems the show will still have lots of treats before its end.
It’s been confirmed that Ghostbusters star Ernie Hudson will appear in Season 7 episode 19: Spartan and he will play Four Star General of the DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency) that Diggle (David Ramsey) is forced to reconnect with for a Team Arrow mission despite unresolved tension from their past.
It will be great to have Hudson in Arrow in any capacity, especially one that it sounds may be a badass!
On a side note, the original report from Deadline also stated that Hudson has signed on to star in Ghostbusters 2020/Ghostbusters 3, however, the actor has since taken to Twitter to debunk this as he hasn’t signed on to it… yet (hopefully).
