FTN’s favourite Sherlock Holmes, Benedict Cumberbatch, is set to star in JJ Abrams next Star Trek film. Deadline reported earlier that the British actor will join the cast in an undisclosed role. Cumberbatch joins recently announced Doctor Who actor Noel Clarke in the untitled sequel which has a release date of May 17, 2013.
